Contemporary ADU Plan: 800 SF, 2-Bed / 2-Bath, Two-Story

This 800 square-foot two-story ADU is built around a 20-foot-wide footprint — compact enough to preserve yard space while delivering a genuinely livable two-bedroom layout. The ground floor opens into a combined kitchen and living room, with a pantry, dishwasher, and refrigerator space in the kitchen, a full bathroom (Bath 1), and a dedicated laundry area. A sliding door connects the main living space to the backyard. The upper floor holds the master bedroom with its own master bath and a second bedroom — giving residents a true two-bedroom unit with complete floor separation between living and sleeping. Natural light comes in through 4040SH and 3010HS windows on both levels. Well suited for multigenerational living, long-term rental, or as a standalone residence.
