The Martinez family added a detached studio ADU to their backyard in San Jose. Designed to maximize a compact footprint, the build features a Murphy bed with custom cabinetry, a full kitchenette with butcher block counters and open shelving, and a full bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. Large windows and a skylight flood the space with natural light, making the studio feel open and airy despite its efficient layout.
