Laguna ADU: 528 SF, 1-Bed / 1-Bath, 22×24 Footprint

This 528 square-foot plan fits a complete 1-bedroom residence into a 22×24 footprint. The kitchen is equipped with modern cabinetry, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and a pantry cabinet with 5 shelves. The living room is open and connected, optimized for comfortable daily living. The bedroom has a dedicated closet, and the bathroom features a 30×60 inch soaking tub with tile wall finish to ceiling, 18-inch vanity cabinet, and recessed medicine cabinet. A laundry area is built in without compromising the living spaces. All rooms have 9-foot ceilings. Walls are 2×6 framed at 24" O.C. with R-19 batt insulation and a stucco exterior system; the ceiling carries R-38 blown-in insulation. The 1-1/2:12 slope shed roof uses black asphalt shingles. Black double-glazed windows include a 24×72 fixed top window, 60×16 awning window, 52×16 awning window with fiberglass mesh screen, and a 48×16 awning window with fiberglass mesh screen.

Room finishes include vinyl plank flooring throughout, ceramic tile in the bathroom, and semi-gloss paint in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry.
